At the event, all the films will be scored by the attending audience, where the winners are potentially screened at any of the ten proceeding Lift-Off global events, with the ultimate aim to give filmmakers like Alicia the best exposure possible as they embark on their continued artistic journey within the film industry.

SYNOPSIS

Heather, a busy career mom and wife deals with balancing the long and tedious hours of the film industry with her personal life.  We follow Heather on a lonely and sometimes selfish journey towards sensual fulfillment.  Heather becomes faced with an undeniable attraction to Jake, her work colleague and the shame she feels for wanting a man who she spends more time with than her husband.  At the heart of it all we realize that all the couples around her are struggling with their desires and questioning what monogamy really means for each of their own relationships.

Living Shame was filmed as a short film combined with a proof of series concept. We are pleased with the success of it's festival run and look forward to further developing this story in the future.
